Livada Beach

The Verdict

A small sandy cove twenty minutes’ walk from the port — convenient, and accordingly full in August.

Why go

Livada is the closest decent beach to Tinos Town: a shallow, sheltered cove with sand, tamarisks for shade and one taverna, reached on foot in about twenty minutes or by a short drive. It is small, so in August it fills by mid-morning. Good for a swim before the afternoon boats, less good if you want space to yourself.
