Antiparos Chora

The Verdict

One street, one square and a windmill — the whole village is a short walk, and that is the point.

Why go

The chora of Antiparos is one main street and a square, with the old castle house of the Venetian family absorbed into the surrounding buildings, a windmill on the hill behind and a small church at the top. Everything on the island happens within two hundred metres of it: the ferry quay below, the tavernas, the scooter hire and the bus to the beaches. Stay in or beside the village and the island runs on foot.
