Paros Park

The Verdict

The antidote to Naoussa harbour at four in the afternoon: paths, low scrub, and bays where you can actually find space.

Why go

The park covers a rocky peninsula with marked walking routes between three coves, an open-air theatre used for summer concerts, and a monastery on the point. The swimming is off rock and small beaches, which keeps the crowds lower than the sand beaches on the other coast. Walk the circuit in the late afternoon and swim at the far bay before walking back.
